Its LIDAR navigation system works very well too, avoiding bumping into furniture or crossing power cords.
It's a bit sluggish on the stairs but that's expected from a compact robot that's designed to overcome obstacles. The only downside is that its mopping pads can be difficult to attach and didn't remain in place during our tests. Additionally, it isn't equipped to handle dried-on dirt that makes it more like a vacuum cleaner rather than a full-fledged robot mop.
Despite these issues however, it's a great option for those looking for an effortless cleaning experience that can take care of carpets that are bare or low-pile with equal competence. It had a good amount of suction, which helped it pick up fine dust from pet hair and carpets. A good feature is its automatic carpet recognition which boosts the power of the vacuuming to take on dirt that is embedded. It's easy to use and the charging dock automatically emptyes the trash bin when it's full. This is a fantastic feature for apartment dwellers.
